Visually challenged people require braille books in order to read but not too many books are availalbe in braille due to their cost and inefficiency. Translating a 500 page book into braille nearly doubles the thickness. EAP is a technology that can dynamically change the surface pattern by way of an electromagnetic signal - simulating braille text. Not exactly a new idea but a nice executive nonetheless.
The concept is designed by Seon-Keun Park, Byung-Min Woo, Sun-Hye Woo & Jin-Sun Park

That is pretty thoughtful for the visually challenged people. The only thing I don’t get is - - will the system be connected through the computer via USB to load up a E-Book, or you buy them through the system itself?
It is a big breakthrough…
Maybe, in the future, Microsoft can launch braille windows
very nice. it’s great that there are new technologies specially made for those that are disabled. good to be inclusive and address needs that have yet to been made.
What a wonderful use of technology.
Yeah technology in right direction..I like this..
I’m so happy to be calling myself as a software engineer as my pat doing things which are so good..
I’ve discussed this with friends, it might be one of the best uses of technology. From the “why didn’t someone think of this before…?”
@Diane Already a reader with that of Braille system was idealized but it took such long time..
