The first time we saw Samsung’s Papyrus e-book reader was at CES, but it was just a prototype, which mean that the device could have been updated since then. Recently, the company thought it would be good to make a pre-launch marketing so they’ve decided to dish out a few new details.
The biggest of those, is word that the e-book reader will launch in Korea this June and then it can also hit the US and UK market by the end of the year. As for the device itself, it’s an A5-sized device which packs a touchscreen, 512 MB of internal memory (no memory card as an option) and a stylish leatherette case. On the upside, Samsung is apparently looking to keep this one under the $300 mark, although it’s not quite ready to get official with a price just yet.

nice stuff from samsung. but how is this compared to other e-book readers out there on the market right now?
Yes, would be interesting to read reviews from someone that has used different e-books.
Kindle…Sony…Samsung…HiEbook….Ipaq 4150…I’m so confused.
I read that some newspapers will offer reduced prices on some e-books with a paid subscription. That is providing you live somewhere outside of their paper newspaper(?)subscription area.
Including Braille system is a nice social welfare idea..
Already seen lots of ereaders but the price is so high..Let it be acceptable cost
Also i heard that in netbooks there are subscriptions for different sites like amazon for ebooks download..How about that?
