Samsung i7500, the company’s first Android handset, was recently approved by the FCC and it’s heading in our way. This means we’re that much closer to seeing the Android line fleshed out a bit.
Like the G1, the i7500 is T-Mobile only for now, and the specs are still the ones from the first announcement. Having passed this hurdle, the i7500 will likely start production soon, though who knows when it’ll actually show up in stores—Boy Genius predicts it might be out by November. [Boy Genius Report]

that looks very slick, i cant wait to hear more about it!
Very nice, is this called the “Galaxy”?
I’ll be watching to see if Boy Genius is right. Looks smart :))
those are just drawings i wanna see a real one
i dont even know what a android is
and what it does
I think android is an operating system, but anything more than that is way beyond me.
Android is an operating system designed by google team..Similar to that of symbian in Nokia..
I didn’t have the opportunity to work on this OS but wanna try a little..
In either way it must be user friendly like symbian in os..Also it must support a wide range of applications like sis jar etc.
The mobile is looking so good and sleek..Let us see how it gains its rank..Omnia is looking so good than this.
Samsung is now aiming at developing high cost mobiles and are good in manufacturing good looking items..Rock guyz.
Is android an open source or not..Coz i heard that symbian turned to be an open source..Nice competition.
i think its an open source
maybe somebody will do a review on it
MAN!! i really want this ipod touch
prekumar has given me great competion
Yeah competition is for all..Anyone can try..But i’m more interested in mobiles and tech information.
Also i heard that symbian is asking for people to join as members by paying an amount so that they ll give some tool development kits to develop applications..How about android..
