According to Microsoft “guru” Paul Thurott, the launch of Zune HD is expected to be on September 5. Mind you, this info comes fresh from the Zune forums, so we’ll slap a rumor on it for now with the caveat that it matches our earlier post about a September launch window.

I’m also expecting its release..I have attended Microsoft interview but reached to 4th level..Just 2 more levels out from my hand..Else i would also be a part of MS..
I have also learnt that Zune will be good at its sound clarity..We just hope but i won’t bet my bucks on it on first day itself.
Like Apple itunes lets hope Zune for MS be a successful one..Managing files either in hard drive or flash drive need a software and this zune software along with its media player is good for all windows os like xp or vista or 7.
Will Zune give a stiff competition to Apple ipod..Is it this version that allows to share pictures,songs and other files with other Zunes.??
